CBD for rest and better sleep! Sweet Dreams

As we all know, sleep is essential to proper recovery and functioning optimally in daily life.

Getting proper sleep however, is not as easy as it seems. Millions of Americans and people around the world struggle with various sleep disorders or have a racy mind at night, preventing them from actually falling asleep. You may have heard that CBD can be effective for sleep and insomnia, well you heard right. Many people are finding natural relief with cannabidoil for sleep.

Benefits of good sleep include calorie regulation, reduction of chance for obesity, better focus and stamina throughout the day, lower risk for heart disease, lower risk for sickness, and  improved cognitive function and social ability, to name a few.

When dosed properly, CBD could be effective for helping you rest, go back to sleep faster if you wake up, and mainly making sure you wake up rested and rejuvenated.

As past athlete, I would struggle with performance stress, preventing me from falling asleep the night before games. This would of course make me sluggish the next day And impact performance on the field when it mattered the most.

That was years ago, now as an adult I’m sleeping like a baby.

What type of CBD you take also plays an impact on its ability to help you fall asleep.

All Inflamade products use pure CBD, so it’s as potent as possible but also very effective in helping you switch off your mind, relax, and doze off into dream land.

But what causes poor sleep? Mayo Clinic, says insomnia can be caused by overwhelming thoughts, trauma, Depression, Medications, and certain Physical Conditions like Chronic Pain and Restless Leg Syndrome.

Consuming Caffeine late in the day can also play a part in keeping you up at night, in addition to other environmental factors..

The good news is that ingesting CBD has also been shown to help with pain relief, reducing spasms, calming - all reactions are dependent on proper dosage.

Unlike cannabis, and full spectrum CBD, all Inflamade® products are THC free. So there is no psychoactivity or high resulting from taking pure CBD, even at a high dose.

However, if you use a full spectrum CBD we have seen that it could make one over active, making your brain have racy thoughts.

So how much CBD do I need to rest?

We recommend starting with 25mg (one dropperful of Inflamade Restore)  to 50mg, sublingually. Hold for 5 seconds and then swallow! It’s that simple! You could also put your CBD drops into a night time tea.

This dosage of Pure CBD is usually enough to make most adults fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. It’s the last thing I do at night after I brush my teeth and before I get into bed. My body and brain knows when I ingest my CBD that its time to go lights out. Start with this dosage and increase as needed. Some people may need 50-100mg CBD per dose to help them go to sleep, which is OK! Everyone responds differently to CBD and has different needs.

Research published in 2019 looked at whether CBD could improve sleep and have calming effects. The study involved 72 subjects, with 47 experiencing overwhelming thoughts and 25 experiencing poor sleep. The subjects were each given 25 milligrams (mg) of CBD in capsule form each day. In the first month, 79.2 percent of the patients reported calmer feelings and 66.7 percent reported better sleep.

Pain, which may also cause sleep problems, can be helped by CBD as well. A 2018 review

in Frontiers in Pharmacology noted that there’s a fair amount of evidence to support the claim that CBD soothes pain. The authors note that by reducing chronic pain, CBD can improve sleep.

Additionally, melatonin has been shown to reduce chronic pain and also help with nerve pain. Our Rest + Recover Extra Strength has 3mg of Melatonin per every 25mg of CBD, making a great combination for those that cant fall asleep due to severe pain.

When using pure CBD, you don’t have that risk as CBD is the only ingredient in the product so you naturally relax slowing the system down, and falling into a deep sleep.

We have thankfully helped people come off of prescription drugs like Ambien just for our pure Restore Cbd Drops!

Thankfully, the year is 2020 and CBD is legal. Hemp CBD products (with less than 0.3 percent THC) are legal on the federal level. Marijuana-derived CBD products are illegal on the federal level, but are legal under some state laws. Check your state’s laws and those of anywhere you travel. Keep in mind that nonprescription CBD products are not FDA-approved, and may be inaccurately labeled. Always use CBD from a company using 3rd party lab tests to ensure potency and cleanliness of their products.

Sweet Dreams!
